FORECASTING FOR THOSE WITH SUN IN CANCER, PART I

Transiting Jupiter in Libra square natal Sun in Cancer: (June-October 2017).

Those born with their Sun in the sign of Cancer (allowing for up to a ten degree orb of influence) will have Jupiter squaring their natal Sun.  Jupiter will be at 13 degrees Libra for the month of June, 2017 progressing forward until October when it passes into Scorpio on October 11, 2017. 

Jupiter is always a positive influence on the Sun regardless of which aspect it makes.  The only difference when you have an aspect of a square, opposition or quincunx is that you may have to work harder for your rewards.  With the trine and sextile as well as the conjunction aspects, often things seem to fall into place rather easily.  It is considered an opportunistic aspect although as Jupiter tends to exaggerate and expand all it touches, the only drawback would be over-optimism and over-doing.  So taking things with a measure of caution might help along the way.

You may feel very fortunate during this time although this can be exaggerated.  This transit does bring with it the opportunity for growth and opportunistic prospects as long as you your weigh things out and plan your objectives before jumping into the mix.  You may feel quite reassured about your set plans and if you take the measures necessary to guarantee your best possible outcome, you could do very well. 

Jupiter will provide a certain amount of luck and opportunity for success especially when it comes to goals in life and aspirations that you hold dear.  Check into the houses affected by this transit to see which areas of life will be under this influence.  If, for example, the tenth and seventh houses are activated, the potential for business dealings and occupational expansion are highlighted.  If the fourth and seventh houses are activated, it might deal with the home and family and important relationships such as with marriage. 

Review which houses are affected along with the house the Sun rules and also have a look at any aspects between Jupiter and the Sun in your birth chart.  Each of these will affect the overall conditions of what transpires during this period.  The rest of the chart will also have to be taken into consideration of course.  The energies of your chart have to agree with what Jupiter and the Sun are implying. If they disagree you will have to weigh out all things accordingly.

TRANSITING MERCURY AND MARS IN CANCER

Although Mercury and Mars both move quite rapidly through the zodiac, since we are currently in the sign of Cancer, we wanted to touch on this conjunction particularly for those individuals with their Sun in Cancer.  This Conjunction began on June 23, 2017 and will be completed on July 6, 2017. 

The energies are very powerful from June 27 to June 30, 2017, when the planets form a tight conjunction between 14-19 degrees of Cancer.  Those that have their natal Sun conjunct these degrees and even those with a rising sign of Cancer near these degrees will be affected by the energies associated with transiting Mercury and Mars.

Mercury does little on its own, but with the energies of Mars, it has become activated.  Mars as well as the Sun often initiate action and can be used as timers in Astrology (along with Uranus).  Both the Sun and Mars are currently in the sign of Cancer as we write this post, indicating activities related to family along with activity on the home front.  Sometimes changes stemming from the family can be quite impulsive and even aggressive in action (Mars influence), coming out of nowhere and acting on a compulsion to move forward in a certain direction.

Mercury is the planet of the mind and is related to making plans, deciding on actions to take and influencing the potential for the signing of documents or implementing decision making.  Mars will have a tendency to make you push ahead in these avenues and decide on a course of action that you may have been putting off for some time now.  Since the Sun is involved, this could include life objectives and moving towards goals of significance.

If the Ascendant is involved some people move forward with plans of engagement, decide on a house to buy or refurnish, set plans in motion with respect to family planning or to buy items or sign documents of importance.  These actions often have effects that are far reaching and will change people’s lives significantly.  In most cases, these plans set in motion during this time are worth pursuing, but it is important to have a look at the rest of the chart to make sure it agrees with this potential.

If this conjunction affects the midheaven especially by conjunction, trine and sextile, these actions may involve your occupation, your status in life and may even affect your public reputation, often in a productive manner. 

If challenged by a square or opposition aspect, you may have to watch how you handle these energies and ensure that you do not jump into something that might not work out for you over the long haul.

Mars can act on its own, at times, and your input may not be required.  The best results, however, usually come when you use your own initiative to utilize the energies at hand.  Use these energies at your disposal to your advantage and insure that you take into consideration the effects your actions may have on your family and the home environment in the long haul.  Much may be at stake but the energies are set in motion for you to take advantage of them in a positive manner.

REJUVENATE OUR FOCUS THROUGH CONCENTRATED EFFORT

In order to maintain a positive journey, it can be necessary to realign our focus from time to time.  Sometimes we get a little lost in events and forget that our concentrated focus forms our reality.  We can easily get lost and become complacent.  Unintentionally, we go on automatic pilot and become absorbed in these events.  When the lessons get tough we can get lost in an attitude of why me and allow this less than ideal attitude to carry us away.  We can lose touch with past lessons and get swept away.  Thank goodness something jolts us back into the moment and remind us that our focus is actually exaggerating the lesson that we see as being so tough.

It is important to remember that we are human when we vary off course with our focus and gratitude.  Be gentle with yourself but the faster we recognize our negative focus, the faster we can re-centre ourselves and start to enjoy the ride.  In particular it is important to pay attention to what is important in our lives and what bring us happiness especially during the harder lessons.  We are always capable of shifting our focus to anything that helps us to experience happiness (it is a choice) and this choice eventually helps us decide to choose calm.

The object of our focus does not have to be anything colossal.  As a matter of fact, it is usually the small simple pleasures of life that help to uplift us.   As we are well aware, focusing on negativity only brews sadness, fear and anxiety.

If we have allowed ourselves to slip back into negativity for an extended time or if this is a new concept, it can certainly take some work as we identify with these energies.  It can be difficult to even recognize in the beginning, but with constant mental reminders and a gentle but concentrated effort, it does gets much easier.  Eventually a focus on negativity will become effortlessly recognizable.  Your vibration (energy) changes as you regain your positive momentum and life will feel as though it is lifting.  It will feel much lighter and easier.  It may take some time for these effects to be noticeable as much depends on how long we have been drawn into negative drama.  Little by little, we notice the subtle changes and our lives will begin to feel and look much more promising. 

Do not give in to the challenging conditions in life.  View them simply as lessons that lead us to great growth and development. 

We can never forget our focus.  By developing a positive focus, we take control of our journey and our attitude towards it.

MIDPOINTS IN ASTROLOGY

Midpoints in Astrology are considered one of the most successful astrological applications available in the study of Astrology and its predictive abilities.  A midpoint is the exact halfway point between two planets, or two significant points (Ascendant, Midheaven) or astrological bodies such as Chiron.  The Part Of Fortune can also be used, as well as the Vertex, or other bodies that you use to delineate an Astrology Chart. 

If you have Uranus at 11 degrees Cancer and the Moon at 28 degrees Scorpio, for example, then the midpoint would be 19 degrees Virgo.  If by chance you have a planet or significant point in the natal chart that is within a one degree orb of 19 degrees Virgo (18 to 20 degrees), that planet would have Uranus and Moon connotations mixed into the meaning of the planetary position.  If, for example, you have Mars in this position, Mars would be heavily influenced by Uranus and the Moon.

With transits and progressions, any planetary link to this position in our example would carry these overtones as well as the conjunction to Mars.  You can also use the semi-square, the square, the Sesquiquadrate and the opposition when delineating this configuration.  These aspects are all divisions of 45 degrees and will bring action, create events and make these energies noticeable to the individual (and also at times others that are involved in the equations).

Midpoints are very significant when deciphering potential events suggested by the natal midpoint scheme and the houses involved in the equation.   It is important to use an orb of no more than one degree when deciphering what potential situations may occur.  Midpoints are significant because they will provide an Astrologer with a clearer definition of what potential lies within the bounds of these configurations.

This not only applies to transits and progressions but also be applied in the natal chart with any midpoint of any combination.  The midpoint becomes a focal point when transits or progression join up to make contact with these sensitive points in the natal chart.  In most cases when the conjunction is activated between the two planets or significant points and the aspect is direct within one minute, you can certain expect that something will happen. 

The house location of the midpoint will provide you with the area of life affected and you also have to look at the houses the two bodies are located in the natal chart to provide a clearer picture.  Also take into consideration what each of the planets represent and how this area of life will be affected. 

As with our example earlier, the Moon, Uranus and Mars would suggest an emotional experience that would be sudden and unexpected.  It would have the potential for aggressive action or progressive movement in the areas of life indicated by the house placements.

Midpoints can pinpoint events although the more angles involved in the equation, the harder it is to delineate the specifics.  Using the midpoint between the two planets is often sufficed in providing additional information. 

Always pay particular attention to the midpoints between the Sun and the Moon, and the Ascendant and the Midheaven as these will have significance.

NEW MOON IN CANCER JUNE 24

The New Moon is a time to plant seeds to be harvested when the Full Moon is in the same Astrological sign. 

The New Moon on June 24, 2017 is suggestive of a time to make things happen especially on a mental level because this New Moon at 2 degree Cancer has ties with Mercury.  The energies fortified by Mercury (which by the way will not go into retrograde until August 9, 2017), can heighten the mental capacity, making us feel more clever in conversation and in areas related to learning.  Mercury loves schooling, and learning can be achieved in many different manners.  This can be the time to take on any learning adventure and build these lessons into something worthwhile in times to come.

As mentioned, New Moons are linked to the beginning of something new and the Full Moon rewards us for the efforts we have put forth under the influence of the New Moon.  This New Moon will be especially powerful for anyone with astrological links to two degrees (within the five degrees influence.) Any link from 27 degrees to 7 degrees especially by conjunction, square, opposition or trine and to a lesser degree sextile, (give the sextile a smaller orb of influence than five degrees) will influence you.

The house placement will be of significance, as this will be the area of life that is activated during this New Moon phase.  For example, the influence will be of personal matters when related to the first house and you can make constructive changes or forge ahead in new adventures if this placement includes you.  In the fifth house for example, the influence could include your children, current or new love affairs, creative expressions and the sheer enjoyment of life through social interaction or moving forward with enjoying life.  If in the ninth house, this may be the time to think about publishing that book or putting that book you have been thinking about forward on paper.  There may also be some litigation during this period or schooling of life or energies put forward into continued education on some level if found in the ninth house.

It will be a time when family and friends play an important role in your life.  Your children, your parents and the family may become more relevant and nurturing will play a more significant role in your life and in the lives of these people. 

For those individuals that have an interest in the healing modalities, this could be a time when your energies are heightened as the intuitive facilities can become stimulated.  You might want to pursue this if this has held an interest in your life, perhaps taking up Reiki or any of the healing modalities either on a physical level or on a mental level.  Mars makes a wide conjunction during this time as well, so the energies are there to motivate you forward if you are so inclined.

It is time to make your dreams come true.  Many of us have been sitting around long enough.  Now is the time to take action on our goals. 

What are we waiting for?  We are the only ones holding us back.

SUN IN CANCER ON JUNE 22, 2017

An Astrological Sun sign, by definition, is descriptive of our most inner self.  Some of the more gentle or subdued Sun signs can be highly influenced by other stronger factors in the chart.  This could include several planets often linked by a Stellium in one house other than the house ruled by the Sun sign.  Another example is a powerful rising sign which is enforced by many aspects from other planets.  To a lesser extent, modalities, elements and an emphasis in different house segments can also dilute the Sun Sign characteristics.  This is why some people do not have a powerful identification with their Sun sign although the Sun sign usually identifies us rather well deep within.

On June 22, this year (2017) the Sun will enter the sign of Cancer.

Those with the Sun in Cancer are clearly identified by their emotional state, which is subject to change depending upon outside circumstances.  One day they can be uplifting and emotionally secure and the next day they may appear emotionally upset and moody.  It is important that these highly sensitive individuals understand that their emotions are affected by their surroundings.  Cancer individuals must always have a place of comfort and peace to return to after a day of interaction with the world.

If there are other factors in the chart, such as an emphasis in water, or a Grand Water Trine, or a close contact between Neptune and Pluto, these individuals often has psychic tendencies.  Some become intuitive or are born with some traits links to the supernatural.

SUMMER SOLSTICE 2017

We will be celebrating the summer solstice on June 21, 2017 in the Northern hemisphere.  This powerful solar energy serves to recharge our spirits, minds and bodies.

All things are energy and this energy is interconnected.  Some of us are quite aware of these influential external energies and others, are not.  With or without this awareness, all living things are affected by the position of the planets at their birth, by the continual movement of the planets, by the influence of the rotation of our earth including the changing seasons and any other shifts that occur in nature. 

When guided by spirit/our higher selves (call it what you may), our focus is to walk and live our truth, during the easy times but especially during the times that we are being tested or taught.  Take advantage of the strong solar energies of the Summer Solstice to push forward with this focus.  Use the more aggressive energies of the Sun to catapult forward and allow yourself to bloom into your own true creation.  As with the Sun current at its fullest potential for our earthly position, you too can allow all of your inner power and beauty to radiate out.  This expresses your true self but also benefits each and every other living thing that your energy touches.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE NATAL MOON

Neptune is currently in the sign of Pisces.  In order to have a trine to your natal Moon, you would have to have your Moon in one of the other water signs, (Cancer or Scorpio).  Trines are considered a major aspect and most Astrologers give the trine a ten degree orb of influence.  That being said, transiting Neptune has been and will be between 9 to 14 degrees Pisces this year (2017), so you can see the range encompasses most of Cancer and Scorpio.  As Neptune draws ever nearer to your Moon sign’s position, it will intensify in strength.  If you have Neptune in the later degrees, the transit of Neptune will only intensify over the coming years.  Neptune moves slowly and generally covers less than two degrees per year.

Neptune, in its own sign, suggests that opportunities for growth in spiritual endeavours are increased and Neptune is quite comfortable in its own sign.  The psychic realms can become enhanced for those seeking this area of life.  Neptune is spiritual, mystical and very intuitive, often enhancing clairvoyant abilities, inspirational dreams, visions and increased connections to the other side.  Neptune has been in the sign of Pisces since 2012 and will continue to be in this sign into the year 2025.  As a result, its influence will be quite significant for this earthly cycle and will touch all Astrology charts through transit in one way or another.

For those with their Moon in Cancer or Scorpio, as mentioned, Neptune will be in trine to this lunar position.  The Moon coupled with Neptune gives way to sensitivities particularly to the feelings of those around you.  You may find that you pick up on the feelings of those around you and intuitively understand what is transpiring in their lives on an emotional level.  You may even be able to pick up on some of their thoughts and emotions and can help them unconsciously or consciously with some of the things that they are going through.  You will “feel” in very powerful ways during this transit and must watch out for taking on other people’s experiences and making them your own.  As time passes, you will become more adept at understanding what is coming from you and what is coming from others.

You compassionate nature is greatly enhanced and you truly want to be of assistance.  Insure that your own life is in order before you take on the weight of the world. 

The Moon is strongly connected to your mothering nature especially those with their Moon in Cancer.  You will want to protect, nurture and take care of those that have emotional connections to you.  This could include family members or the greater whole of humanity itself, as you understand, especially during this Neptune cycle, that we are all part of the whole and what affects one affect all.

Neptune tends to be somewhat illusive although in its own sign what you feel is much more reliable.  With the influence of the trine and even with the sextile, you can rely on your intuition to guide you.  With the square or opposition, you will have to rationalize your feelings and try to make common sense out of situations.  Your feelings can be accurate but make sure you take the time to figure things out.  Neptune can be deceiving although the trine is open and usually honest and life opens up in ways that it may never had previous to this influence.

TRANSITING URANUS SQUARE NATAL MERCURY

Transiting Uranus’ (current location) impact on Natal Mercury (Mercury location when you were born) could be described as

1.  sudden flashes of intuitive insight;

2.  inspiration at its best; and

3.  erratic mental conceptions based on belief structures that are impulsive and irrational at its worst.

Mercury on its own, as mentioned in previous posts, does very little.  It needs the energies of other influences in order to be stimulated. 

The square between Uranus and Mercury brings into focus the need for rational thinking and mental action.  It is best to familiarize yourself with the mind’s perception of what is taking place in your life.

Although the mind will be stimulated with new and unusual concepts, it is easy to become confused because of the erratic nature and speed at which these ideas come into focus when Uranus is involved.  It is best to view these ideas from all angles and not to jump into situations or be speculative before you truly understand what is being presented to you.

Uranus currently is in Aries which brings forth much impulsiveness and if your Mercury is square to Mercury, this would suggest that you either have your Mercury in Cancer or Capricorn (in your birth chart).  Those with their Mercury in Cancer could be led astray during this transit by their emotions.  Rationalizing emotions with this placement can be very difficult.  Often the emotions are not based on what could be considered rational or thought-out behaviours.  The emotions come from within and intuition would serve these individuals more favourably than trying to analyse their thoughts and emotions. 

Those individuals with their Mercury in Capricorn would do much better with rationalization and thought out behaviours.  Mercury in Capricorn individuals, in general, would be able through careful reflection to come to a viable conclusion to anything that might be troubling them.

With this aspect, these individuals are likely to feel emotionally nervous and conscious of the impulses taking place in their lives.  They may feel the need to make sudden changes in order to break free of anything that seems to be holding them back or stopping them from growing through experience.  The lessons learned during this transit can be rather tumultuous and unsettling but will often present these individuals with different viewpoints and ways of handling the situation at hand.  Other people may challenge these individual’s concepts during this period as in the eyes of others these individuals with this aspect may be behaving irrational or without forethought.  It is suggested to those with this aspect to listen to the information that others are offering to them.  Impulsive behaviour is common under these conditions.  These individuals with this aspect may make mistakes that could otherwise be avoided if they take the time to listen to what others were trying to tell them.

They should aim to take things one step at a time and not to rush into situations.  The best results will come about when they are thinking rationally about the situation and make adjustments accordingly.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND CARING

I wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that life is getting back to normal and I am ready to move forward with my on Astrology charts and Oracle readings once again (although I never really stopped completely during the healing process). 

I certainly did need some healing time and energy work.  The outpouring of love, compassion and healing energy shared was felt deeply and appreciated.  It is wonderful to see how people come together during times of need.  So many of you have shown your true BEAUTIFUL colours to me over the past couple of months.

TRANSITING PLUTO OPPOSITION NATAL MOON

Transiting Pluto, which moves roughly one degree a year, is moving through the sign of Capricorn.  In the year 2017 Pluto can be found between 16 to 19 degrees of Capricorn.  If you allow yourself approximately five degrees when Pluto is approaching (11 to 14 degrees Capricorn) and two degree separating, so up to and including 21 to 22 degrees Capricorn and if your Natal Moon is in the sensitive sign of Cancer, you will be experiencing an opposition between transiting Pluto and your natal Moon. 

The Moon can identify your reigning need in life.  It is indicative of what makes up your emotional makeup and is an indicator of your emotional response to life’s situations.  In Cancer there is a genuine need to provide emotional support particularly to family members and close friends.  There are mothering qualities linked to your emotional being and a protective wall that you offer when those near and dear to you need your emotional support.  This is particularly true when it comes to your children and parents, as well as your brothers and sisters.  If connected to the fourth house in your chart and strong in the sign of Cancer, you may find that you offer this support in your home environment.  If in the second house you will provide the family with emotional support through security measures.  If in the sixth house you may provide them with support through health matters or through critiquing their moves in life offering some form of support through disciplined action.

The natal Moon in Cancer makes you very sensitive to emotional upheavals and when your own emotional life is challenged, you may wish to withdraw or not to deal with these matters.  The sensitivities are extreme and you feel what others feel.  Many Moon in Cancer individual develop psychic abilities especially if there are other links suggesting this in the birth chart.  You instinctively feel what is going on around you and can be a helping hand for those going through trauma as long as you learn not to take on the energies and make them your own.

Pluto is all about regeneration, transformation, potential confrontation, and the ability to change what needs changing after careful and honest review.  Pluto’s action is slow and deliberate, and you cannot avoid its confrontational and transformative energies.  Pluto is a powerful force in Astrology and constitutes action where it is needed.  When connected to other planets through the opposition (the Moon in this post), often times other people will be involved and possibility the effects on you will be through their actions.  Pluto’s actions are inevitable.

Pluto often speaks in terms of power struggles and in opposition this will be connected to other people.  Often confrontations are likely and one or both sides will try to control or manipulate the other.  If you are coming from the right place, things will still seem disrupted but there is greater potential for the resolution to work out perhaps in your favour.  Any preconceived notions that you will be able to dictate will most likely cause much disruption and ego disputes.  These arguments may stem from your lover or your children or even other family members.  Sometimes it is through women that these issues arise or the problem may involve women, even the mother (indicated by the Moon).

From an internal point of view, this transit can signify great internal struggles and could stem from earlier in your life.  You may find that issues that you thought you had dealt with now surface and will need to be faced and acted on, once and for all.  This is Pluto’s purpose-- to bring up any unfinished business that needs dealing with so that you can move forward in life.  Often you will get gentle nudges in the beginning to change something or move through a difficulty.  Later, if you did nothing originally, the energies that are stirred up can become much more aggressive.  You must act on what is taking place in your life or Pluto will almost always make things much more difficult and will ensure that the issues are faced. 

If the emotional problems are too intense then this is a good time to seek professional advice that will help you understand the process and help you deal with the issues.  The answers to life’s dilemmas are always found within and although others can help you activate the energies to work through the problem, you ultimately do what must be done.  When Pluto has passed through this area, your life will have gone through some changes that have been required for a long time.

IS OUR COURSE SET IN STONE?

Many of us accept that our life’s course was laid out long before our birth.  We come with a plan, a course of action that will eventually take us forward to accomplish what we specifically needed to expand on. 

Does this mean that we are at the mercy of this preplanned course?  Does this mean that we no longer have a hand in our direction?  If we do not have a choice, are we to sit back as an observer without any intent on our part to push in any conscious or desired direction?

These are valid questions.  Have we taken the time to ponder or investigate the answers to these questions from a spiritual point of view as opposed to our earthly perspective, if this is at all possible?    Let’s accept, for the sake of argument, that our course was preplanned.  Let’s accept that the ingredients and circumstances of this life are put in place to provide us with the ultimate opportunities to learn specific objectives for our greater good.  Although the course may be preplanned, this does not suggest that we do not have a hand in these experiences.  It is a physically earthbound concept that implies that we do not have a hand in the process and it is difficult for us to conceive the facts that both can play out at the same time.

It has been suggested that the past, the present and the future are all here at the same time.  If this in fact is true, why could we not mold life through the actions we take now.  Is it possible for a human mind to be able to comprehend that a plan set in motion before birth is also being created in this present moment?  Is this a contradiction or is it actually possible? 

The original plan or lesson for this lifetime may well be set in motion by our actions taken today and we may well be part of the process by making decisions to move in specific directions now.  Living in the moment could initiate the original plan.  Go beyond earthly thinking and think in terms of spiritual understanding.  Nothing is as it seems and our apparent actions taken today through human thought and focus actually activate what has already been put in place.  We do have a hand in our earthly progress.

We mold our reality by our thoughts, our expectations and our belief structures.  We align with our original intent through an ongoing process activated by these thoughts, expectations and beliefs.  Through these current focuses we link up once again with our intended path and activate our lessons already set in motion before our birth.  Can we process this information and then take from it what serves us best?

TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT MERCURY

Mercury, the planet of the mind, needs to be stimulated through other planetary energies or important angles in the chart to become active.  On its own, Mercury is considered neutral.  Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo.

The second planet we are looking at today is Uranus.  Uranus is considered a planet of action and often brings forth change, sometimes disruptive change, but none the less change.  This change is usually required.  It opens the door for something new and exciting to enter into the picture.  Uranus is impulsive, erratic and can also be unconventional in its behaviour.  It often brings a fresh start to an otherwise stale condition.

When active through conjunction, Uranus brings emphasis to what it touches and creates activities often put into motion on the day it becomes direct.  It is used as a timing factor and although its energies can be felt for as much as 5 degrees while approaching, it intensifies immensely as it draws ever nearer to becoming direct.

When Uranus is in line with Mercury, the mind is stimulated and new concepts, often original in nature and sometimes different from anything experienced previous to this time, have the opportunity to come to life.  Communicating these ideas will play a significant role in whether or not they actually get off the ground.  Inaction is not suggested and the need to be open and share this information is advisable.  Often a by-product of these blended energies is a shift towards altering another person’s perspective, pushing them into something new and stimulating (although if in Aries, the energies can be usually very personal in nature).  Uranus has to do with technology, science and mathematics and is also correlated with Astrology and often these areas are part of the unfolding process.

Uranus also asks those involved to become open to anything new that might pop up at this time.  As a result, those that are of fixed opinions will need to become more flexible.  Uranus is currently in the sign of Aries, and Aries wants us to reach out to new horizons.  Aries wants to push forward and can sometimes rush towards something that is motivating it forward.  Making mistakes along the way is common because of the urge to rush and to not take the time required to think through the process thoroughly.  You will probably need to cultivate patience and learn how to persevere through potential setbacks especially if Saturn is somehow connected in the birth chart or through transit. 

Transiting Saturn is in trine to Uranus as we write this post and if your natal Mercury is conjunct Uranus, which is what we are discussing, then you may feel a push and pull situation with the ideas you are trying to implement.  Transiting Saturn will provide a degree of caution and perhaps even the fear of failure, while Uranus and Mercury will push towards action.  Take the necessary time needed in order to be sure that what you are trying to accomplish has a chance to succeed and then move forward.  If you happen to fall short of your objectives, do not hesitate to pick up the pieces and begin again. 

This is a time to reach out beyond boundaries and setting sail for something new, that with proper insight, has the chance to succeed.  All the best in your future endeavours.

FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS, JUNE 9, 2017

The Full Moon is a culmination of energies set in motion some six months ago when the New Moon was in the same sign as the current Full Moon (June 9, 2017).  Currently the full moon is in the sign of Sagittarius at 18 degrees (Sun in opposition to the Moon).  The plans set in motion during the New Moon in Sagittarius, now have the opportunity to mature.  It is time to harvest the fruits of your labours.  

The energies of Sagittarius often deal with spirituality and higher learning.  Sagittarius’ energies also are connected to court dealings, foreign culture and travel plans.

This will be the time (especially for those who have other planets near the 18 degree mark, particularly in Sagittarius) for these expressions or energies to manifest.  You will have the opportunity to make changes, start anew, or cultivate what is now available for harvest. 

Sagittarius is very much connected to higher learning, sometimes literally as in higher education or could refer to the schooling of life.  As you can imagine, much can be learned during this phase of our journey.

During this period of influence when these energies are at their highest, Saturn is conjunct the Full Moon.  Saturn under normal conditions is suggestive of challenges to plans, delays, restriction and general hardships.  It is in retrograde however and during the retrograde cycle, the energies of Saturn often work opposite to their normal energies.  It is during this phase, if you have been working diligently towards an objective, that the energies of Saturn will help you push this objective forward with little restriction and often with the promise of just rewards for the work that has been spent.

Saturn’s conjunction with the Full Moon is also in trine to the energies of Uranus (although almost out by ten degrees).  The energies of Uranus challenge us to move forward in new directions that hold some promise of freedom of expression and offer unique alternatives to what you may have been going through for some time.  Uranus’ action is somewhat unpredictable and often unexpected, but is often just what is needed to push us forward when we may feel restricted or worried about where that step might lead us.

Saturn and Uranus together certainly offer some unpredictability although may also bring into life over time what was required to lift uncertainty.  With the right ingredients (time and effort along with the belief that good things happen to those that wait) can produce new insights and new roads to follow.  Sometimes the steps seem to be laid out in advance.  Other times we are required to take the steps needed to move in a specific direction.  It is suggested that while Saturn is retrograde (which it will be until the end of August) that there will be less intrusion and less restriction in taking the steps that you might need to take now.  When it goes direct again, you may feel more restricted and will be less likely to advance easily with plans for something new, which is the route Uranus is offering. 

Take advantage of the free flow of energy with Saturn now.  This is an opportunity set in motion some time ago.  Let go and see where life takes you.  It is not always about control.  It can be more about belief and having faith that life always takes you down the road that is most suitable, even if the terrain is rough.

INTERNAL QUANDARY

How often do you find yourself caught up in the blah, blah, blah chatter of the mind?  There can be absolutely no rational whatsoever to the chatter we listen to and yet we allow ourselves to be completely engulfed in it.  We follow along blindly without questioning the concepts or the information we are being fed.  This can go on indefinitely and we can become so caught up in this chatter that we lose sight or our principles and beliefs.  We give in to the mind’s constant chatter and its continuous so called “rationalizations”.

We continually come up with concepts or belief structures that fit the moment but unfortunately the mind runs with the intricate details created and building on the simple truths until they are so bastardized that we no longer recognize them.  In turn we experience confusion and stress rather than truth.  We have the ability to follow along any line of thought as long as we decide to.  Why is it than, that so we can become trapped by ideas that serve little if any purpose at all in our lives?

We can allow ourselves to see life as traumatic and each situation at hand, although each of these is often not overwhelming, yet slowly through the mind’s chatter they becomes just that.  The mind completely blows things out of proportion and we follow the blah, blah, blah chatter without even questioning the fact that we do not need to go down that destructive road.  We can control our belief structures and reaction to anything life has to throw at us BUT we must first recognize when we are becoming lost in the confusion, self pity and manipulation of our ego mind.

If we do not like what we are hearing, we simply do not have to identify with it.  Do not make it yours....do not own it.  It is only ours if we choose to make it so.  Learning to catch the manipulation in the beginning is preferred.  It is through recognition that we can make a conscious decision as to which concepts and ideas we wish to follow.  We also can choose which reactions we choose to allow.  By allowing ourselves to be swept away by our thoughts and life events, we become lost in the events and this often leads to nervous ailments (dis-ease), mental confusion and feelings of disparity. 

Once we begin to recognize the control we actual have, we can alter our reactions in such a way that we have control of how we feel and see lessons simply as opportunity to grow not events of destruction.  In order to facilitate change, real constructive change, we need to alter our attitude.  Rather than putting our focus on the events and situations we do not approve of, we might refocus on all those events and situations that make us feel good or satisfied.  Do not try to avoid less than ideal situation.  Avoidance is actually giving focus to something.  In turn that which we are trying to avoid is given even more strength.  The law of attraction does not question what it is we are concentrating on.  It simply gives us more of the same, so focus is the key.

For example, if there is a challenging situation within an important relationship.  Under these circumstances, do not think about what it is that is causing the issues.  Think about what in the relationship holds you together and what in the relationship creates strength and makes you feel good.  Re-channeling your focus brings more of what you are focusing on and in turn makes you appreciative of the relationship. 

Life will take us down the road we need to be on.  The events of life happen for us to learn from.  We are never off course even when it appears as though we are.  Adjustments are necessary as life continues, but much can be learned from the focus of our thoughts and created through our expectations.  We mold our future by our focus today.  Build a future through an open attitude that is conducive to easy lessons.  We can learn our life lessons as we are pulled through them kicking and screaming or we can learn out lessons through acceptance and a positive focus.  Which would be easier?
